Ummmm....

Don't you feel like when people say ummm, that that um can stand for ulterior motiives?? For instance, this is a mock convo: {person 1 doesn't really like person 2}. Person 2: Wanna hang out today??
Person 1: Ummmm..I already had plans. {person 1 really didn't have anything to do!}
The "um" just signals peoples ulterior motives. So sit back nd see how people around u have ummmm...ulterior motives!
