Ameican Terrorist

As everyone probably knows Sen. Barack Obama {for me & my mama!} has sealed the Democratic presidential nomination!!! & Even McClain acknowledged Obama as his opponent. Hiliary basically had to "settle down, settle down" & take the VP ticket but I am learning about politics as we speak & that's not what I am here for right now. I just wanted to reflect on Lupe's "American Terriost". I was listening to it last night & a couple bars struck a cord in me! "break'em off a little democracy,turn their whole culture to a mockery, give em coca-cola for their property, give'em gum, give'em guns, get'em young, give'em fun, but if they ain't giving it up, then they ain't getting none and don't give em all naw, man,just give'em some.." & I guess I did have a point bringing up politics, I hope that Barack will inspire my people to change their lifestyles for the better because that verse is too vivid in our communities! & Honestly it hurts to know that this is my people's truth!!!! I am not asking/expecting Barack to change the Black communities over night but I am just really praying that he is some type of inspiration. We seem to work better with image, so maybe this is the image that will stimulate...I hope with all my heart!
